going on week 5

Saturday Jesse, Cambria and I went to the Red Bull Soapbox Derby. It was pretty cool. Unfortunately we were only able to watch most of the races on the video screens. As you can guess there were a lot of people. The pictures I took didn't come out so well from the screen so I didn't get many good shots.

Did I forget to mention that Erik Estrada was one of the judges. Where is George Lopez when you need him.

This week I finally sent off my hair. I donated about 12" of hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. I chose them over Locks of Love because PBL gives the wigs made from donated hair to cancer patients. LoL mainly gives to those suffering from Alopecia.

My hair as it has been sitting for over a month now.

It was over 10" long without it being straightened out.

Finally!

On Thursday was my first day being a T.A. for the High School Mentorship Program working at Arcadia High School. I went to a Design 1 class, then a drawing and painting class then finally to a graphic design class. I need to get out of the drawing and painting class because unfortunately I can't draw worth spit. I think it would be good if I could actually help the kids out a lil bit. It was weird walking around a high school again.

Friday night was the Collabo party. It was pretty cool.

Then a last second photo shoot for my Imaging 2 class. Unfortunately being a graphics kid I don't have access to check out certain photo equipment, which meant having to shoot with someone else. Luckily I was able to shoot with JP. He's pretty dope. Make sure to check out his stuff. Anyways I shot one of JP's friends.
